Alexy, 24, has a 6.30 ERA in nine appearances in his MLB career. He spent most of 2022 at Triple-A Round Rock in the Rangers organization, posting a 6.28 ERA in 31 appearances, including 16 starts. Earlier this offseason, Alexy was designated for assignment by the Rangers and the Nationals. He has a 3.93 ERA in six minor league seasons.

With Alexy’s addition, the White Sox’s 40-man roster is full.
