(670 The Score) White Sox center fielder Luis Robert will land on the injured list after suffering a right hip flexor strain in his team's 5-0 loss to the Indians on Sunday, manager Tony La Russa said.

Robert exited in the first inning after crumpling to the ground in pain after legging out an infield single. He had to be helped off the field while putting no weight on his right leg. X-rays were negative, the team said, and he'll be further evaluated Monday. It's unclear how long Robert may be sidelined.

The White Sox have been hit hard by injuries in their outfield. Eloy Jimenez suffered a torn pectoral in spring training that's expected to keep him out until at least late August and perhaps longer. Adam Engel also hasn't yet appeared in a regular-season game due to a hamstring injury.

Robert, 23, entered Sunday hitting .309 with one homer, eight RBIs and an .810 OPS in 24 games. Adam Eaton replaced Robert upon his exit.
