Collinsworth began gushing over Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the second quarter of Green Bay's 45-30 win against the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night Football, a segment that led to Collinsworth marveling over Rodgers’ “honesty” this season.

“Have you seen a guy, and in particular this year, be more honest about everything he could?” Collinsworth said. “You may not agree with everything he says, but we have heard from the beginning of this entire season exactly what he thinks about everything.”

It appeared as if Collinsworth had completely forgotten about the week Rodgers dominated the news cycle for lying about his COVID-19 vaccination status.

Fans watching the game heard this comment from Collinsworth and completely crushed him for it on social media.

One could maybe argue Collinsworth tried to steer his point mid-sentence that Rodgers unapologetically says what’s on his mind, which is true, but the way it came across wasn't one of the better moments for Collinsworth.
