(Audacy) Former Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is reportedly interested in returning to football -- this time in the announcer's booth.

Cutler is apparently interested in a television job with one of the league's broadcasts partners, and his representatives have engaged in talks with FOX Sports, Michael McCarthy of Front Office Sports reported.
Cutler, 38, had a short-lived stint with FOX several years ago, briefly joining the network before stepping down to instead serve as a backup quarterback with the Miami Dolphins.
He was tabbed as FOX's No. 2 analyst behind Troy Aikman but passed up the opportunity so that he could return to the gridiron.
Cutler seemed destined to work in TV in some capacity, between his aborted stint with FOX and co-starring on the E! network's "Very Cavallari" with his former wife, reality star Kristin Cavallari.
It seems Cutler, who's now 38, is apparently ready to get back in the mix four years after his retirement and two years after the last episode of the reality show aired. The couple announced their divorce shortly after the show's run ended.
It's unclear exactly what position Cutler might be considered for, but he told Front Office Sports that he again has his eye on "color commentary."
Cutler has also reached out to NFL broadcast partners other than FOX, including Amazon, he told the outlet.
Meanwhile, FOX Sports is seeking a replacement for Aikman, who's leaving the network to serve as lead analyst on Monday Night Football on ESPN.
