Bears legend Dick Butkus gets verified on Twitter, quickly needles Aaron Rodgers

(Audacy) Bears legend Dick Butkus had a Hall of Fame career and then smoothly transitioned into acting and sports commentating after retiring. As said by the man himself, Butkus is using his new blue checkmark to kick people off the platform. He started off with Rodgers, who has tortured the Bears for years.

"Now that I have the blue mark I can kick people off of the platform right you hear me @AaronRodgers12," Butkus said on his Twitter account Friday afternoon.

Butkus also had jokes.

For a man who was as ruthless of a linebacker as there was on the gridiron, it seems like he's transitioned that mentality over to social media. We're looking forward to seeing what Butkus has in store for us on the platform in the future.
