(RADIO.COM Sports) Cover your ears, kids.
The Bears-Saints broadcast on Nickelodeon in a special presentation Sunday afternoon was getting all sorts of rave reviews within the social media world – especially for its end zone slime cannons – but it wasn't necessarily kid-proof throughout the duration of the game.
In the second quarter as an official was announcing a penalty, a loud “what the f—k?” was picked up by the microphone and broadcast on Nickelodeon – whose audience surely consisted of young children watching the game. It appeared to have come from Bears kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson.
The announcers seemed to freeze in the moment – not sure whether to address it – but then quickly moved on back to the game.
Hopefully, any kids watching the game don’t add it to their vocabulary – at least not for a few years.
Fans on social media reacted in amusement to the F-bomb.
