Then on Thursday, the short handed Tigers were able to get a nice win over NC State, 83-78 at the Barclays Center Classic in Brooklyn. Tigers PG Boogie Ellis was able to break out of his scoring slump and lead all Tigers with 21pts in the win. Precious Achiuwa continued his strong play with 15pts 11reb. The Tigers are now 6-1 on the season with a game tomorrow night vs. Bradley at 8pm on CBS Sports Network.
