When in doubt, just have Jeremiah Martin score 30+. Memphis got it's most important road win of the year in hopes of attaining that #4 seed in the American Athletic Conference Basketball Tournament in March. Martin didn't miss a free throw and continued a string of games as a scoring machine for the Tigers. Over the past seven games Jeremiah Martin has scored two-30+ games and two-40+ games. The Tigers have needed almost every single one in order to have a chance to win them. Final at Wichita State: Memphis (17-11) 88 Wichita State (13-13) 85
In fact, Penny said of Martin's run that it's something he's never witnessed at Memphis.
Despite being a down year for Wichita, the road win against the Shockers was a worthy test for a Memphis team with only two conference road wins over lesser opponents in Tulane and East Carolina.
