Celebrate all things MEMPHIS on September 1st (9/01) … It’s 901 Day! 

Tom Lee Park- the grand opening of the newly renovated and redesigned Tom Lee Park happens Saturday Sept. 2nd with “Day One” activities including parade, ribbon cutting, music, volleyball and activities starting at 11am.

901 Fest at Railgarten Sept. 1-3 Midtown Memphis. North Mississippi Allstars, Dead Soldiers and many more. Live music and activities all weekend.

Memphis Tigers football-  first home game of the season for our Memphis Tigers at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium Sat. Sept 2nd. Go Tigers Go!

Delta Fair and Music Festival at Agricenter Sept 1-10, 2023 with rides, live music, arts and crafts, pageants and fair food!

Healthier 901 Fest: We’re challenging the Mid-South to lose 1 million pounds of extra weight over three years for a Healthier 901. We can do it, together, because there’s power in numbers. To kick things off in a big way, join us on September 2nd at Shelby Farms Park for the Healthier 901 Fest. CELEBRITY GUEST SHERRI SHEPHERD joins the celebration this Saturday (10am to 2pm).

901 Day Celebration at Memphis Redbirds:  AutoZone Park, 4 - 7 p.m.Free, All Ages, Kid-friendly! 901 Day celebration will be held at AutoZone Park with the Memphis Redbirds and features pregame concerts, plaza party, fireworks, and more. Cheer on the Redbirds all weekend long!

901 Day Market, Overton Square, 6 - 9 p.m.Celebrate Memphis in Chimes Square with live music and a shop local 901 artisans market with 20 vendors. Photo booth, Elvis tribute artist, and U of M’s Pouncer.

Old Dominick will give free tours for anyone with a Valid TN ID. (Must be 21 and based on availability.) At the bar all day we will be serving Old Fashioneds for $9.01 plus tax.

Finish Liza’s Run! A memorial run to honor Liza Fletcher who was kidnapped and killed last September. The goal is to empower runners and emphasize that women should be able to safely run any time of day. All are welcome. #finishlizasrun The event takes place Friday morning at 4:20AM. This course is 8.2 miles and starts at Central and Belvedere and runs east on Central to Zach Curlin St. and returns to the start.
