For the fourth time in the past 16 years, 92.9 FM ESPN has been recognized among the nation's elite radio stations, earning a coveted NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) Marconi Award nomination. This year's honor marks a milestone for the station, as it has been nominated for Medium Market Radio Station of the Year after previously receiving three nominations for Sports Station of the Year.

The recognition reflects nearly two decades of consistent excellence in sports and talk programming, local coverage, and community engagement in Memphis. The celebration extends beyond the sports lineup. Audacy sister station hosts Ron & Karen have also been nominated by the National Association of Broadcasters for Personality of the Year, highlighting the strength and depth of Memphis radio talent.

The 2026 Marconi Award Winners will be unveiled on Tuesday, October 20, at The Edison Ballroom in New York City.
