DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys may have been aggressive earlier this offseason in terms of acquiring impact players. And that may very well continue. But apparently, DeAndre Hopkins is unlikely to be one of those potential targets.
When speaking with the media on Monday, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was asked about the potential of Hopkins joining the team, and quickly shot down the possibility.
“We don’t dismiss any possibility, but it’s unlikely," Jones said. "He’s not on this team right now. We went down the road with [Brandin] Cooks. We’re very comfortable with Cooks. We’re pleased with our receiving group.”

With the addition of Cooks, alongside CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup and the Cowboys starting receiver group has already become one of the best in the league.
That said, they are still searching for depth, and being able to add an immense talent such of Hopkins would surely take the receiver room over the top.
However, even if the Cowboys wanted to pursue Hopkins, it would be difficult, with multiple other teams, including the Cleveland Browns and Hopkins' former teammate Deshaun Watson.
