On Tuesday when meeting with the media, Prescott told reporters that he has been in contact with highly-sought after free agent, Odell Beckham Jr., and has made his pitch for him to join the Cowboys.

“He knows how much I want him here," Prescott said. "And a lot of the guys in this locker room have reached out on their own in different ways — to make sure he understands this is a team he can help. And we want him to come help."

Obviously, the Cowboys are not the only team in pursuit of Beckham.

But And according to Prescott, the interest between the Cowboys and Beckham Jr. seems to be mutual.

“Mutual. Honestly, it’s mutual,” Prescott said. “That’s the reason I said it’s business. It’s more than just somebody’s feelings of wanting to be somewhere. I understand that will come into play, but I’m feeling like it’s mutual.”

The New York Giants, Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers are also involved in the Beckham chase.
