Here's the brief update based on what the Memphis Grizzlies press release said. GG Jackson will apparently be out at least 3 months after "successful" surgery. Grizzlies fans can be happy it wasn't unsuccessful, at the very least.
Memphis, Tenn. – Memphis Grizzlies forward GG Jackson II underwent a successful procedure today to repair a broken fifth metatarsal in his right foot.
Jackson II will be reevaluated in approximately three months and is expected to make a full recovery. Further updates will be provided as appropriate.
The Memphis Grizzlies begin the 2024-25 pre-season schedule on Monday, October 7th, with pregame at 6:30 p.m. on 92.9 FM ESPN (Tip at 7:00 p.m.)
