The Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) has named Memphian James Wade as it's Executive of the Year for the 2022 season.
From Chicago 5 TV, "The honor is a credit to the duality of Wade's roles on the roster as both general manager and head coach, for which he was named the 2019 WNBA Coach of the Year. Since Wade joined the team in 2018, the Sky have made four post-season runs, winning the championship in 2021."
