Saturday (9/5) it's a Homecoming of sorts as Tom Bowen, the former University of Memphis Athletic Director who resurrected the Memphis Football program with the hiring of Justin Fuente, returns to Memphis. Arkansas State plays the Memphis Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Saturday at the opening of the newly renovated Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+. Bowen is taking a fund-raising role with Arkansas State and discussed his new role, stepping back from being a full time athletic director, and his love of the Tigers.
