Multiple sources are reporting that Jordan Brown, the transfer center from Louisiana by way of Arizona/Nevada, will return to action for Penny Hardaway and the #10 Memphis Tigers.
Earlier in the week it was unclear if the "team" wanted him to return. Many have suggested that Penny Hardaway was open to Brown's return having continued to perpetually keep repeating he was either "injured" or not "currently" with the team.
Right now Memphis isn't so hot rebounding at a rate of 37.2 boards per game (131st in the country). Rebounding likely could improve with the addition of Brown back to the lineup.
Brown came into the season as a Top 15 transfer addition in the country and a Lou Henson Award winning big man. Unfortunately for the Tigers he came into the season out of shape.
The #10 Memphis Tigers and Jordan Brown take on the Tulane Green Wave on Sunday (1/21) at noon on ESPN 2.
