The University of Memphis women’s soccer team has earned a well-deserved spot at #10 in the latest United Soccer Coaches Top 25 poll, released on September 9, 2025. With a perfect 6-0-1 record through games of September 7, the Tigers have made an impressive leap—from 14th to 10th—demonstrating the continued rise of a dominant program. Last week the Memphis women had a draw (0-0) against new #1 ranked Tennessee.

This top-10 ranking highlights Memphis as a national contender, reflecting both their strong defensive discipline and cohesive team dynamics. Coach Brooks Monaghan now has a new stadium in the works.

Sitting just ahead of the University of Iowa (#11), the Tigers are firmly in elite company not far behind traditional powerhouses like Arkansas and Penn State. It’s a moment of pride for the Tigers and their fans, signaling that this season could be a breakthrough for the program on the national stage.
