AUDIO:
Memphis has added talented Nevada transfer wide receiver Cortez Braham Jr. to its roster. Last season at Nevada, Braham hauled in 56 catches for 724 yards and four touchdowns, instantly positioning himself as one of Memphis’s top receiving threats. Importantly, Braham reunited in Memphis with former Nevada quarterback Brendon Lewis, a connection that should help the offense hit the ground running according to On3. More coverage live on 92.9 FM ESPN.
The Lewis-Braham Jr. pairing offers immediate upside: Lewis already knows where Braham likes the ball, and Braham brings reliable hands and route-running to a receiving corps that needed experience. With Memphis coming off a strong 11-2 season and a Frisco Bowl victory in 2024 under Head Coach Ryan Silverfield, adding Braham and blending him with Lewis could elevate the aerial attack, add playmaking versatility, and build playoff potential for the upcoming season.
