The Memphis Tigers moved up to #15 in the Associated Press weekly Top 25 poll after avoiding a bad loss at FedExForum Saturday against Austin Peay 81-70.

Memphis is now listed by the Associated Press poll ahead of undefeated Ole Miss, Clemson, and conference-mate FAU. FAU lands at #17 after a devastating 72-68 loss to Florida Gulf Coast.

Now #15 Memphis will roll into conference play on Thursday (1/4/24) against Tulsa on ESPN+ and will try to avoid the bad losses having successfully navigated a challenging non-conference schedule. ESPN's Joe Lunardi currently lists Memphis as a potential Top-4 seed in his NCAA Tournament Bracketology projection.
