August 7, 2026 American Conference Releases 2026-27 Pairs for Men’s Basketball

IRVING, Texas – The American Conference unveiled its league matchups for the 2026-27 men’s basketball season Friday. The Tigers are slated to play 18 conference games, featuring home-and-home contests against Wichita State, South Florida, Charlotte, UAB, North Texas and Tulane. Memphis will host Tulsa, East Carolina and Rice at FedExForum for single matchups, while hitting the road for one-time meetings at Florida Atlantic, Temple and UTSA.

Official dates and tip-off times will be announced at a later date. Conference play begins Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2026 and runs through Sunday, March 7, 2027.
