Tulsa used a zone defense and amazing 3-point shooting in the second half to take #15 Memphis down to the wire on Thursday night at the Reynolds Center. But it was Jahvon Quinerly's 3-pointer with 3 seconds remaining that saved the day with the game tied at 75. Final: #15 Memphis 78 Tulsa 75

Memphis was led in scoring by David Jones and Nae'Qwan Tomlin both with 17 points. But the biggest question now is the status of Caleb Mills who went down to the floor during the first half on an ugly leg injury that resulted in his immediate removal on the shoulders of his Memphis teammates, putting no weight on his leg. Mills was put in a temporary leg brace and did not return to the game for the Tigers.

#15 Memphis will continue conference play on Sunday against SMU at 4:00 p.m. at FedExForum live on ESPN TV. Full analysis tomorrow on Memphis' Sports Station, 92.9 FM ESPN.
