Here's a review of the Big 12 to Memphis happenings this week. Obviously school administration at the University of Memphis and fans want it happen, so it's been an energy filled week on 92.9 FM ESPN covering the reports.
First, College AD reported this, setting the story in motion:
Friday on 92.9 FM ESPN's Jason & John Show ESPN/SEC Network host Paul Finebaum discussed the College AD report here:
On Friday (6/9) on 92.9 FM ESPN's Gabe Kuhn Show came a surprise from CBS Sports College Football Insider and Reporter Dennis Dodd. Dodd told Kuhn the visit to Memphis "never happened".
30 minutes later, 92.9 FM ESPN/Daily Memphian Columnist Geoff Calkins told Gabe Kuhn that his sources and calls indicate the visit did happen.

Meanwhile ESPN Senior Reporter Pete Thamel went straight to Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark for comment on the 92.9 FM ESPN interviews and reporting. Yormark told Thamel there wasn't a "campus visit":
