Hitmen Hoops is reporting that the Memphis Tigers will hire Nolan Smith and others to maneuver Penny Hardaway's staff.

Questions immediately emerged about the relationship between Penny and his new Athletic Director, Dr. Ed Scott. Scott, appearing on 92.9 FM ESPN's Geoff Calkins Show Friday did a nice job of answering those questions and giving his nod to Penny.
