With the deadline approaching for college basketball players to declare for the NBA Draft, two important Memphis Tigers went in different directions Wednesday (6/1/22). First DeAndre Williams decided he will stay at Memphis for the 2022-23 season.
Later on Wednesday afternoon, Lester Quinones declared that he will indeed be leaving the University of Memphis. Quinones likely anticipates becoming a 2nd-Round Pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, if not signing as a free agent with an NBA team.
Rumors from league sources suggest that Lester Quinones' pre-draft workouts with NBA teams went very well.
