It’s one of the biggest games of the young college football season as No. 8 Ole Miss hosts No. 7 LSU Saturday night in Oxford. The Rebels enter 2-0 after dominating Charlotte, while LSU is also 2-0 and coming off impressive wins over Clemson and Louisiana Tech.
But the biggest storyline is Lane Kiffin’s return to Oxford. Kiffin left Ole Miss after the 2025 season to take over at LSU, and now he faces his former program and former defensive coordinator Pete Golding—for the first time. ESPN College GameDay will also be in the Grove.
Kickoff is 6:30 p.m. CT Saturday on ABC. Ole Miss won last year's meeting 24-19.
