John DeFilippo joined the Geoff Calkins Show on Thursday (1/4/24) to discuss his arrival in Memphis as the new head coach of the Memphis Showboats.
DeFilippo mentioned during his interview with Geoff Calkins that his USFL/UFL draft will take place tomorrow. "I've been watching a lot of tape. I have an idea of what we're going to do at the quarterback position," DeFilippo added.
DeFilippo told Calkins, "You look at the markets in our league, they're great markets (like Memphis)." The new USFL x XFL--UFL League begins on March 30th, 2024. The teams will play a 10-game regular season, starting Saturday, March 30, 2024, with games airing on Fox, FS1, ABC and ESPN.
