The Atlanta Braves bullpen looked good in a series win over the Los Angeles Dodgers over the weekend. Over Saturday and Sunday, the pen went 8-1/3 innings giving up only three hits and one earned run.

August 18, 2019 Chris Martin, Mark Melancon and Shane Greene all had tremendous appearances. This is what we all have hoped for since the Braves acquired the three new relievers at the MLB trade deadline on July 31.
"(Greene) is the eighth inning guy right now. Melancon is closing but isn't Shane Greene supposed to be closing?" Randy McMichael said. "I'm just curious, will Snit change it or leave it like it is right now?"
"Just leave it like this. It's working and this team needs this right now. They need something like this to happen. It didn't happen against the Marlins. It happened against the Dodgers. That's even a little bit more to it."
