After holding a two-hour conference call with the MLBPA Board and multiple other player leaders, MLBPA Executive Director Tony Clark publicly stated that the players "resoundingly rejected" the most recent proposal.

Earlier in the week owners announced they would not make any further counter-proposals leaving negotiations in quite the state of limbo.
