The Atlanta Braves announced Saturday that they have placed outfielder Nick Markakis and shortstop Dansby Swanson on the 10-day injured list.

Markakis exited Friday night's game in the six-inning after taking a 91 mph fastball off his left wrist off Philadelphia Philles pitcher Cole Irvin. Swanson injured his left heel on Tuesday and has remained out of the line up since.
"Ender (Inciarte) ain't going nowhere now. You can't move him," Randy McMichael added saying the Braves need the depth at this point.
