The Atlanta Braves have now played 10 games, essentially the same as an NFL team playing just Week 1. And on Tuesday morning, John Fricke and Hugh Douglas took a look at what they think after 1/16th of the season had been played.
Fricke shared his grade first.
"After 10 games I give the team a B-minus," said Fricke. "The two best things so far have been starting pitching and defense. Despite last night where they did a good job, the bullpen has been shaky."
Fricke posed to Hugh a few questions, inlcuding:
- Are the Braves on the verge of getting hot?
- Is what we've seen from Dansby Swanson so far what we'll see from him moving forward?
Only Cody Bellinger has more RBI (11) in April than #Braves SS Dansby Swanson, who has driven in 10 runs in 7 games.

"I think we're seeing what he can actually be as a player and it's about time," said Hugh before continuing. "He was the No. 1 overall pick. When is he going to break out? Ronald Acuña Jr. overshadowed him a little bit, but now it's time to pay dividends and in the offseason working with Chipper Jones has helped him out tremendously. He looks like a totally different player."
