
Atlanta Falcons running back Qadree Ollison joined Dukes & Bell, and talked about is speed overrated, the difference between college and the pros, and what he’s learned from Devonta Freeman.
Ollison talked about is forty times at the NFL Combine are overrated.
“I think it’s definitely overrated.” Ollison said “I know a lot of people who don’t run fast forties that don’t get caught in games, and I think I’m fast enough to make big plays and get big runs.”
Qadree talked about the difference in college and the NFL.
“It’s a lot different.” Ollison said “In college you have to deal with class and study hall, now you just replace that time with studying the playbook, getting more familiar with it and really just being a pro with it, learning with other players on how to do those things.”
When asked about Devonta Freeman’s influence on him.
“Free’s tremendous.” Ollison said “He teaches me so much, it’s not just football, he teaching me on how to be a pro on and off the field. To be able to be a rookie behind a guy like that, to get to learn from him is a blessing.”
