The Falcons made some coaching changes during their bye-week after their 1-8 start. Raheem Morris, who coached the team's wide receivers, is now the new secondary coach. Dave Brock moved back to his old position as the wide receivers coach (was working with the running backs group). Bernie Parmalee is now the Falcons’ running backs coach (was an offensive assistant and special teams assistant).

Voice of the Falcons, Wes Durham, joined Andy and Randy on Thursday and said the moves show the team is still trying to win.

"The idea that they're investigating and looking and not staying the status quo shows you that they are serious about trying to get this thing turned around," Durham said.

"They're not just going through some motions here where everybody's kind of written them off, and they've used the bye-week to maybe take a finer look, if you will, when you get that extra time of what they can do to do better as a staff, let alone what the players obviously have talked about doing better as this week has unfolded too."
