USL side St. Louis FC advanced in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday by knocking out an MLS side (Cincinnati FC) and will advance to face Atlanta United in the quarterfinals.

June 20, 2019 After just beating another USL side (Charleston Battery) in the US Open Cup, you have to feel good about the chances for Atlanta United to advance to the semi's.
Atlanta United Technical Director Carlos Bocanegra discusses United's run in the US Open Cup and what it's done for the team.
"The guys did a great job in Columbus to get a great result and now we play St. Louis which gives us a really good opportunity to advance. For the club to go on a cup run, a lot of people get involved and it's really bringing the club together"
