NFL Network analyst Brian Billick joined Dukes & Bell Wednesday and talked about the Atlanta Falcons and all things NFL.
Billick talked about how impressive the Falcons have looked since the bye week.
“I don’t know that anybody saw that, although when you look at going into the bye playing a really, really tight game against Seattle, a darn good football team,” Billick said. “But then to come out, and what’s most impressive is on the road at New Orleans and Carolina, and have those kind of games that was impressive. I put a lot of value on a team’s ability to go on the road and win.”
Coach said the Falcons are playing with momentum.
“Yeah you can, and sometimes it’s just a placebo. It’s just to do something, OK, let’s see if this helps,” Billick said. “Then if it works you are like 'OK great.' And Raheem is an excellent coach and obviously will do a great job on the back end and bring that perspective to it. But the fact that you go out and play as well as you do, then yeah whether it was tangibly real or not the players see it as real. And I’m a big believer in momentum they clearly have the momentum.”
