Pete Prisco joined Dukes & Bell Monday from Radio Row at the Super Bowl and told the guys he didn’t think making trades at the deadline would have fixed the Falcons.
“I don’t think they could have fixed the team," said Prisco. "I think as soon as you lost the middle of the defense the season was lost because once that happened you put too much pressure on the offense.”
Prisco talked about the Falcons offensive line issues in 2018.
“The offensive line didn’t play very well," said Prisco. "[Ryan] Schraeder didn’t have as good of a season as he’s been use to, the interior didn’t play that well and Matt Ryan still had a really good season. But this team has playmakers and I don’t think they are very far away.”
When asked about the pass interference call that wasn’t made in the NFC Championship game...
“Everybody wants him to say something," said Prisco. "What is he supposed to say, it’s a missed call. There was a missed call on Jared Goff for a facemask which could have gave them a TD, missed calls happen all the team its just now we can see them all.”
