Atlanta United President Daren Eales joined Dukes & Bell to talk about the MLS and players union reaching an agreement to continue season, how the tournament in Orlando will work, plus Darren gives his perspective on the protests in our country.
Eales said he’s talked with Arthur Blank about the protests going on in the country.
“Arthur is someone that this is something dear to his heart, his foundation has put a lot of work, resources into tackling these types of issues and this way’s heavy with him.” Eales said “I’m speaking here as a white British guy, but this isn’t something that’s uniquely American, it’s a human issue. It’s complex, it’s uncomfortable, it’s difficult to unravel, but it’s something that’s an human issue that’s around the world so we gotta be not afraid to talk about it and not afraid to have difficult conversations and not afraid to stand up and say and call to act when something’s wrong.”
