Atlanta Falcons Cornerback Brian Poole joined Rick and John on Radio Row at the Super Bowl.
Poole on the Saints not making the Super Bowl, “With them being a division rival we were glad we were glad they didn’t make it.”
Poole on if the Saints were to win and were able to practice at the Falcons facility during Super Bowl week, “It worked out ok.”
Poole on what went wrong for the Falcons this season, “We were close in a couple games and I don’t think we are that far off.” Poole went on to say, “The guys we lost were some of the best in the world so you couldn’t just easily replace them.”
Poole on his toughness, “When I hit someone I want to arrive violently.”
Poole then talked to Rick and John about the big hit he put on Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers earlier this year.
Poole on the Super Bowl loss to the Patriots two years ago, “They were the better team in the second half. We didn’t get it done.”
Poole then said that the NFL should take a look at changing certain rules this offseason.
Poole on being a restricted free agent this offseason, “Teams can offer me but the Falcons have my rights so they have the opportunity to match.”
Poole went on to talk about trash talking and said that Deion Jones is the biggest trash talker on the Falcons.
