Ben Garland, who is a member of the United States Air Force, was awarded the USAA Salute to Service Award recently, and joined John and Hugh to talk about it. Hugh asks Ben what he does in the Air Force, because with his size there's no way he could've been a pilot. As it turns out... he was, at least initially. Because of training camp and playing football, Ben did switch millitary careers and now works as a Base Exec in Colorado.
Ben also gets in to what it's like to play both sides of the ball, as the Falcons will occasionally ask him to play DL. Ben says that he loves it, as he's now in the OL's head from the start of the play.
