Hack talked about what it would take for Tiger to win his fifth green jacket.
“It’s been fourteen years since he won at Augusta national.” Hack said “Who would have thought he would be stuck at 4 as a 43 year old, I’m not feeling Tiger this week but talking to people at Augusta they say the’ve never seen a more confident, comfortable Tiger. I’m just not sure he can do what he use to do, and he would have to do everything perfect to win a fifth green jacket.”
Damon talked about Dustin Johnson and if he is ready to make a run at another major.
“He’s got some swagger to him, he’s got the perfect golf attitude.” Hack said “Nothing seems to bother him, you can’t tell if he just made a birdie or a triple bogey, kinda like a flat liner. Last year Butch Harmon told me DJ had his eye off the ball a little bit and he seems to be focused this year to get that second major title and first Masters Championship.”
When asked about Phil Mickelson.
“Phil might have peaked a little too early this season.” Hack said “He was tied for 36th last year at Augusta, some of us have wondered if his focus is set on focusing on completing the career grand slam at the US Open. Last week instead of playing in the tournament, Phil spent four days in Augusta working on his game there, when he goes down Magnolia drive he’s a different player.”
Hack told us who his pick is to win the Masters.
“Rickie Fowler is my pick to win the Masters. He finished runner up last year, he needs to embrace the pressure, realize that majors are different, I believe he has the game to breakthrough to win his first major championship and win the 83rd Masters championship.”
