New Atlanta Falcons tight end Hayden Hurst joined Dukes & Bell Thursday to talk about his time with the Baltimore Ravens, what he’s doing during the quarantine, and what he will bring to the 2020 Atlanta Falcons.
Hurst talked about what he can bring to the Falcons.
“Hoop’s an incredible player, he was able to set all kinds of personal bests last year,” Hurst said. “I think I do a lot of things well, hope I can pick up where he left off... obviously big shoes to fill.
"I think one of the things I do really well, I’m able to extend the field vertically just because I don’t think linebackers can keep up with me and I put stress on safeties just because of my size. Then again, as far as the run game, I think that’s the one good thing I learned in Baltimore is kinda that smashmouth football mentality that I’ll bring with me as well. Like I said it’s a great fit.”
