Atlanta Falcons guard Chris Lindstrom joined Dukes & Bell to talk about his rookie season.
Lindstrom talked about how he spent his time while injured.
“Just that everyday it’s a grind." Lindstrom said "It’s kind of something that you know, but you just have to experience. Every single day is a grind, every single day you have to be at your best, there are so many great players on every team so when you’re going through that preparation you have to be at your best. During the time I was injured I was still trying to prepare like I was playing in the game, Alex Mack was a great role model in teaching me, like hey keep studying, keep working and trying to be at your best and that’s what I tried to do every single week I wasn’t playing. I kind of built those habits up because everything in football you want to be in a habit, be in a routine so when I was out I was trying to build that routine up still so when I came back it’s pretty much the same routine now, and instead of working out I’m practicing.”
