Jason Longshore joined Dukes and Bell to talk about Atlanta United’s off week, what type of game we could see in Columbus on Saturday, and what Franco Escobar’s return means for the five stripes.

Jason talked about what you will see tomorrow after the team has had a week off.

“The thing that you will see tomorrow is a team that’s fresher.” Longshore said “There’s been a lot of unforced errors and that’s the kind of thing that happens when you’re tired.”

When asked about what style of play to expect tomorrow.

“Both teams want to dominate possession and Atlanta leads the league with almost 66%.” Longshore said “But neither teams are creating shots, it’s going to come down to who is going to change their mindset because they don’t have the ball.”

Lonshore talked about the return of Franco Escobar.

“It gives you a lot of life on the right side.” Longshore said “If you go back to the postseason run he was the mvp of the playoffs for the United, the work rate is what this team has needed. Sometimes you just need that spark to change how this team looks on the field.”
