The Atlanta Braves are above .500 after starting the season 0-3. In their first home stand of the season, the Braves went 5-1 backed by some promising starting pitching.
However, one question remains after some close calls: How do the Braves fix the bullpen?
"Guys just have to throw a strike," Green said of the bullpen guys getting behind in the count. "They're going to have to make some adjustments. I don't know what they're going to do."
"Once the starting rotation gets solidified a little bit, looking two months down the road once everybody's healthy and everybody's performing and you know what you have, you could see some of those guys go to the bullpen."
Green mentions Bryse Wilson and Touki Toussaint, starters down in Braves Triple-A Gwinnett, as names that could potentially fill those bullpen spots later down the road.
"I think you're going to have to take the best guys. If you're competing for a championship, you have to take the best guys. If there are guys that are down there that are true relievers, that are walking guys, but there are starters that you feel like can fill those roles better, you've got to put them in those roles."
"It's all about winning, and I don't know what (the Braves) are going to end up doing but they're going to have to take a look at that bullpen for sure."
