“They still have a really good team,” Mathews said. “There’s a lot of talent, they’re not to be taken lightly at all. And we have stuff to prove as well, so we’re looking forward to going out and just executing and playing a complete game and getting a win.”
Matthews told the guys the team is as angry as anyone.
“That’s the way I kinda see it,” Matthews said. “It’s a results league. If you’re not winning you’re not doing it right. So we have to start winning again, that’s our plan. We’re as pissed off as you can be now. It’s just about going out and proving it so that’s where we are at.”
