After Falcons kicker Giorgio Tavecchio missed a 39-yard field goal last night against the Redskins and he's hitting field goals at just a .500 clip in the preseason (made 4 and missed 4).

Falcons fans, many of whom were upset to see the team move on from Matt Bryant in the first place, immediately began discussing the possibility of the team bringing him back to solidify the kicker role.

John Fricke and Hugh Douglas spoke about the kicking concerns and whether or not the Falcons are going to bring back Matt Bryant.

Hugh closes with another declaration that Giorgio Tavecchio will be given a long leash with the Falcons.

"Tavecchio needs to do better, not giving him a pass, but he's going to be given the time to get better."

Now there are some caveats to a possible return for Matt Bryant and most of those revolve around the idea that if the Falcons bring him in AFTER Week 1, the contract isn't guaranteed for the full season, and that's certainly an option the team will consider.
