Atlanta Braves Legend Dale Murphy joined the show and talked about the Braves starting the NLDS tomorrow against the Cardinals.
Murph told the guys he thinks the team can win it all.
“I think we do have a good team to get there.” Murphy said “I really like the team, no question about it, there’s great chemistry, great combination of youth and experience. I think after watching last night and when they step on the field tomorrow and the crowd is rocking, we can forget that funky finish to the last week of the season and get Acuna out there, Freddie sounds healthy. I like everything about it, am I nervous about the Cardinals, yea I am, but I love this team.”
Dale told the guys that the lights are brighter in the postseason.
All of a sudden you step out on the field and a lot of these guys have been thru it but the lights seem a little brighter." Murphy said "There’s a few extra things in the stadium that bring your attention, there are reporters there from around the country more tv’s, more interviews. The other thing that’s interesting is there seems to be a little different crow, a lot more corporate people, tickets seem to be more expensive, the buzz is hanging on every pitch, there’s not question there is some extra adrenaline flowing and you gotta try to take a few deep breaths and find your rhythm.”
