Baldinger: 'Former Patriots won't say a word about system'

Brian Baldinger
Wendy Adams - Entercom Atlanta, WZGC 92.9 The Game

NFL Network Analyst Brian Baldinger joined Dukes and Bell on Radio Row at Super Bowl 53. Baldinger on what happened to the Falcons this past season, “It would be good if Deion Jones comes back, Keanu, the whole thing it would be good if they weren’t gutted up the middle to start the season. I’m in the thinking that you can turn something around in just a year in this league, the Rams, the Eagles it’s not quick fixes but you’re never far away.”

Baldinger on how the Falcons can turn things around in the off-season, “The draft and free agency are paramount, three years ago when you signed Alex Mack it was the best free agency signing of the year, because that year the offense was clicking, find the piece of glue that is out there.”

When asked about how to stop Tom Brady Brian Baldinger said, “He’s been at this thing for 18 years, so anything you want to do to him he’s already seen it, so you have to keep him guessing. You’ve got to keep him guessing because once he knows what you’re doing he will cut you up, the most difficult thing for any Quarterback is the pressure up the middle they can move around the outside pressure but the quick pressure up the middle will get to them.”

Baldinger on the number of former Patriots who know work in the media, “I don’t know how many former Patriots work in the media right now, but they will never tell you how they do it. Malcolm Butler got benched in the Super Bowl last year, he left for Tennessee and got paid a king’s ransom and he didn’t say a word about what happened.”
