Atlanta, GA - The place where everyone loves to visit, but no one wants to live. Until Now.

The city of Atlanta has had this reputation for quite some time now, and it has been said by many that this reputation is what keeps big name free agents from bringing their families here.

But isn't it time that changed?

Atlanta just hosted one of the most successful Super Bowl weeks in the history of Super Bowl weeks and the Falcons have one of the most potent offenses in the NFL. Atlanta United won the MLS Cup last year. The Atlanta Braves have arguably the best one through eight offensive starting lineups in Major League Baseball with an average age of 27 (2 starters are 35 which skews this number a bit).

That brings us to the Atlanta Hawks. Behind rookies Trae Young and Kevin Huerter, and 2nd year player John Collins the Hawks finished a very exciting 2018-2019 season 29-53 im a season where "the experts" didn't think they would win as many as twenty.

A lot of people are saying that the Hawks had the 2nd best draft this year, only because the New Orleans Hornets landing Zion Williamson is being considered the 1st. The Atlanta Hawks behind the genius of General Manager Travis Schlenk made five trades landing forwards De'Andre Hunter and Cam Reddish, and much needed big man Bruno Fernando.

Will the Hawks be able to land that free agent superstar next year? Will they even need to? Only time will tell, but it appears that the future of Atlanta sports is bright. Maybe the ATL will soon be known as "Championship Mecca Of The World"...

Sam Crenshaw and Greg Clarkson expand on this city being a great landing spot for potential free agents.
