Head coach Dan Quinn fired all three coordinators at the end of the 2018 season: offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian, defensive coordinator Marquand Manuel and special teams coordinator Keith Armstrong.

Coach Quinn has since taken over the defensive coordinator duties and hired Dirk Koetter as the new OC and Ben Kotwica as the STC. So how will the new changes impact the team in 2019?

"I've never seen anything like this," Randy McMichael said of the Falcons adding three new coordinators. "I think it's going to work because you've got three veteran coordinators...I think it's more of an improvement."

It's a unique situation because you usually only see coaching overhauls when the head coach gets fired.

"I think this is a good thing," Andy Bunker added.

"The reason that I'm not worried about it...is because you're not bringing in people that are green like you did last time. You're bringing in a ton of experience."
