I know it's hard to remember what day it is, not to mention a few months back, but remember back in March when Tucker Brewing Company held a contest on Instagram to
let people vote on the four ingredients of a new beer? We thought their idea to do a bracket challenge to decide the winners was genius, especially since no one got to fill out March Madness brackets.
Fast forward to now... the beer is ready. It's called Malt Madness Lager.
Using only Citra Hops, Caramel 40 malt, Vanilla Bean and Pineapple, head brewmaster Tucker Eagleson crafted a beer that rings in at 5.8% ABV and 25 IBU.
Spent the afternoon with Eliana & Tucker and the fine folks at @tuckerbrewingco as they released Malt Madness. While I’m not sure it was smart to let me, @WilliePStyle, & @marko6262 loose in the brewery, at least we didn’t break anything. pic.twitter.com/aTRf3Pv8fy

May 21, 2020 Rich with citrus aromatics from the Citra Dry hop, the taste is tropical and hoppy but does not have you puckering from bitterness. The subtle pineapple puree and vanilla notes give it a nice smooth, sweet finish.
"Citra hops are so much fun work with," said Eagleson. "They're the most popular American hop there is, and there's a reason why. They just smell fantastic."
Tucker Brewing Company launched Malt Madness Thursday evening and since the batch was made on thir pilot system, there are just fewer than three kegs available.
